Senior Remote Cloud Solutions Architect

Our client is looking for an innovative and highly experienced Senior Remote Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructure solutions. In this fully remote position, you will be at the forefront of leveraging cloud technologies to drive business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire lifecycle of cloud solutions, from initial concept and design through to deployment, ongoing management, and optimization. This includes architecting secure and resilient cloud environments on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and developing strategies for hybrid and multi-cloud deployments. You will work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective cloud architectures. This role demands deep expertise in cloud networking, data storage, compute services, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. A strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices within cloud environments is also critical. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical documentation, blueprints, and best-practice guides. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to mentor junior engineers. Proven experience in leading complex cloud migration projects and optimizing cloud spending is essential.
