Senior Remote Cloud Solutions Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to join their innovative IT team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud computing technologies, infrastructure as code, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a critical role in architecting robust cloud environments, optimizing cloud spend, and ensuring the reliability and availability of our client's services.

Key Responsibilities: Designing and architecting cloud-native solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Implementing and managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments and infrastructure management. Ensuring the security, compliance, and governance of cloud environments. Optimizing cloud resource utilization and managing cloud costs effectively. Troubleshooting and resolving complex cloud infrastructure issues. Collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and support. Developing and documenting cloud architecture standards, best practices, and operational procedures. Providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers. Staying current with emerging cloud technologies and trends. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years focused on designing and managing solutions on major cloud platforms. Proven expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and security. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and distributed systems. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
