Senior Remote Embedded Systems Engineer

Our client, a leader in innovative technology solutions, is looking for a Senior Remote Embedded Systems Engineer to join their globally distributed team. This is a fully remote position, offering unparalleled flexibility. You will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and testing complex embedded systems that power next-generation products. Your responsibilities will include architecting hardware and software solutions, writing efficient and reliable firmware in C/C++, debugging hardware and software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams on system integration, and contributing to the entire product development lifecycle from concept to production. A strong understanding of microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN), and power management techniques is essential. You should be proficient in using development tools, debuggers, and oscilloscopes. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development, is required. Experience with safety-critical systems and a proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting are crucial.
