Senior Remote Financial Analyst - Fintech

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement across various business units. Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders. Conduct in-depth analysis of key financial metrics, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Support the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives, new product launches, and business development opportunities. Monitor industry trends and competitor performance to provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and product development, to provide financial guidance and support. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems. Develop and refine financial metrics and reporting frameworks to enhance decision-making capabilities. Evaluate potential investments and acquisition opportunities from a financial perspective. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a strong plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking. Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and forecasting techniques. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) and financial modeling software. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a remote environment. Experience in the Fintech or financial services industry is a significant advantage.
