Senior Remote Project Manager - Agile Environments

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional projects in a fully remote setting. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure. This role demands exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies. You will drive project success by ensuring efficient resource allocation, proactive risk management, and clear stakeholder communication, all within a distributed team environment. The ability to foster collaboration and maintain high performance levels among remote team members is crucial.

Key Responsibilities: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation using project management software. Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive remote work environment. Implement and manage Agile/Scrum methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management, providing regular project status updates, reports, and presentations. Monitor project progress against established baselines and take corrective actions as needed. Oversee the quality assurance and testing processes to ensure deliverables meet required standards. Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations as required. Continuously evaluate project performance and identify opportunities for process improvement. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices in project management. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of proven project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role managing complex projects. Extensive experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies (Scrum Master certification is highly desirable). Demonstrated success in managing remote teams and distributed projects. Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar tools. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively. Experience in stakeholder management and expectation setting. Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is preferred.
