Our client in the homeware/ décor industry has an opportunity available for a full-time Senior Sales Consultant who will be based at their upmarket showroom in Cape Town.
The main purpose of the job is to ensure consistent implementation and upholding of policies and procedures. Ensure operational compliance and risk mitigation. Drives sales through effective stock management, maintaining merchandising standards and overseeing the effective operations of the showroom. Promote and sell retail products to customers, providing excellent customer service, reaching and exceeding sales budgets.
Please note that this position is of a physical nature due to the handling of heavy products.
Responsibilities
- Building long standing and productive relationships with customers
- Selling luxury homeware products and reaching targets & managing orders
- Maintaining showroom standards
- Deliver customer satisfaction
- Stock management & payment processing
Requirements
- Matric
- At least 3 years’ sales experience in a similar role, in a retail environment (preferably for a luxury brand)
- Experience in conducting and managing regular stock take’s
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Customer service focused and orientated
- Highly sales driven
- Must be professional and well presented
- Self-motivated
