Our client, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Development Representative to join their vibrant sales team based in Bloemfontein, Free State, ZA. This role is crucial for driving pipeline growth and identifying new business opportunities. Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and research potential clients through various lead generation methods, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine their potential and fit with our solutions.
- Engage prospective customers in meaningful conversations to understand their business needs and challenges.
- Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition of our products and services to potential clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and appointments set.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Contribute to a positive and high-performing sales culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), or similar sales prospecting role.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and driven to achieve results.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
