As a Senior Sales & Partner Manager (m/f/d) Data AI and HPC Services, you will report to the Head of Sales & Presales AI & Business Computing in Central Europe. You will work in close coordination with Big Data Presales and Industry Account Managers in a national and international environment. You will be responsible for managing and steering the bid team (with internal and external partners) as well as customer and partner relationships during the presales and sales phase with the goal of profitable order generation and acquisition. You will be measured by the achievement of your KPIs for order intake and revenue. You will be responsible for steering dedicated bid teams and managing opportunities from initial identification and qualification to contract award. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for a number of external and internal stakeholders. You will be involved in every aspect of bid generation at all times. Your focus will be on managing the entire sales engagement and coordinating between customer needs on the one hand and the best possible value proposition through evidence on the other. In your role as Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the AI Services and HPC Services (science + computing) ecosystem and work hand-in-hand with a number of established cloud and AI partners to define joint go-to-market strategies with the aim of generating new business. In addition, you will have a feel for the AI market and activate new partnerships that can be aligned with the BDS AI Services strategy.

Your Tasks

  • Full responsibility for order intake and co-responsibility for revenue in Big Data Infrastructure and Edge & AI platform business, with a focus on computer vision technologies.
  • Expansion of the existing Big Data and AI platform business as well as identification and acquisition of Big Data and AI platform customers in the industrial sector.
  • Collaboration and coordination with global Big Data units on portfolio, sales campaigns, marketing, events, pre-sales activities, international customers, etc., as well as reporting and controlling.
  • Establishment and development of operational and strategic partnerships with technology partners to improve competitive positioning, as well as maintenance of an extensive partner network.
  • Intensive customer support, outreach, and acquisition for the entire Big Data and Edge & AI portfolio, especially customer support at senior and top-customer level.
  • Development and expansion of strong business relationships with customer decision-makers and top decision-makers.
  • Responsibility for bid presentations, negotiations, and final contract negotiations with customers, especially for large contracts.
  • Initiation and responsibility for marketing and communication activities with customers.

What You Bring

  • Many years of professional experience in sales, business development, or pre-sales in information technology (project, solution, and/or product business), specifically in the Big Data-Edge & AI area, dealing with top decision-makers (C-level) and a strong industry and partner network.
  • Completed university degree (technical or business administration) or comparable education.
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working, perseverance, and closing strength.
  • Strong customer orientation and high personal initiative.
  • Fluent English and German language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel, primarily within Germany.
