About the role
Introduction
Our client is a prominent, forward-thinking enterprise within the agricultural and grain milling sector. We are on the hunt for a high-performing Senior Sales Representative to act as the face of our business and aggressively expand our market footprint within a designated territory.
This role is tailored for a strategic closer who excels in B2B commodity sales. You will take ownership of the full sales cycle—from identifying lucrative prospects and negotiating high-value contracts to managing client stock levels and ensuring absolute customer satisfaction. If you are target-driven and possess a deep understanding of milling production, we want you to drive our revenue forward.
Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing and Sales
- Increase sales by selling products, services and solutions.
- Report on the effectiveness of the marketing plans and projects.
- Monitor competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for generating sales.
- Liaise between the client and the company regarding the product, stock or related concerns.
General Functions

Desired Experience & Qualification
Education and Qualifications
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4.
- A marketing-related degree/diploma will be advantageous.
- Valid Driver’s License with own transport.
Experience and Requirements
- 5 Years of experience in sales or marketing with commodities.
- 3 Years of experience within a Milling Maize Industry.
- Willingness to Travel.
