Role Summary
The Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer at WWP will deliver high-quality, scalable solutions within the Marketing Cloud platform, encompassing automation, integrations, and data‑driven reporting. You'll collaborate with marketing teams and solution architects to optimize processes, execute a strategic platform roadmap, and continually enhance our platform capabilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
- Design and implement scalable, end‑to‑end technical solutions leveraging the Marketing Cloud suite.
- Translate business and marketing needs into robust technical solutions.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on CRM customizations and cross‑cloud integrations to enhance Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Create and maintain custom solutions utilizing AMPscript, SSJS, and Guide Template Language for personalization and advanced automation.
- Build and enhance CloudPages, landing pages, forms, and microsites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AMPscript.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for audience segmentation, ensuring the performance and integrity of the Marketing Cloud data model.
- Integrate Marketing Cloud with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs for data synchronization and personalized experiences.
- Document technical processes, data flows, and marketing automation procedures to ensure scalability.
- Utilize Marketing Cloud reporting and analytics tools to assess campaign performance, track key metrics, and provide insights.
- Design and present dashboards and reports to stakeholders for data‑driven decision‑making.
- Stay informed on Salesforce Marketing Cloud updates and best practices, advocating for platform enhancements.
- Engage with peers to share best practices and contribute to team process improvements.
- Participate in necessary training and meetings, including, but not limited to, orientation and leadership training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and other relevant tools.
- Proficient in developing automated solutions with SSJS, AMPscript, and Guide Template Language.
- Strong front‑end development skills for CloudPages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AMPscript.
- Extensive experience with SQL and database technologies, including a thorough understanding of Marketing Cloud's data model.
- Knowledgeable in system integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
- Skilled in Salesforce Marketing Cloud analytics, reporting, and Content Builder.
- Ability to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Experience
- Five years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud administrator or developer.
- Five years of experience with Journey Builder, Content Builder, and Mobile Studio.
- Three years of experience in complete life cycle projects in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Two years of experience developing solutions using AMPscript and Content Builder.
- Two years of experience working in Agile/SCRUM settings.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Certifications & Licensure
- Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant Certification.
- Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator or Developer Certification.
Work Environment / Physical Demands
- General office environment with temperature control.
- Up to 5% travel may be required.
Salary
Salary estimates vary by location. For example:
- Colorado: $90,316 – $112,896 annual base salary.
- Houston, TX: $94,617 – $118,272 annual base salary.
- New York: $107,520 – $134,400 annual base salary.
Compensation depends on experience and qualifications. This position includes eligibility for an annual performance incentive.
