Senior SAP Project Manager - Banking (F/M/D)

About

We are looking for ambitious and experienced individuals who are passionate about SAP Banking Services to join our growing SAP Financial Services team. Working within innovative transformation projects you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver international SAP projects with special focus on the Financial Services industry.

Responsibilities

• Project management including strategic, functional and technical consulting for our customers’ Banking projects
• Recording, advising on and coordinating customer requirements
• Developing project landscapes with customers
• Developing project strategies and concepts
• Planning, organizing, estimating costs for and implementing projects in the SAP environment
• Combining migration-specific aspects of the business processes of the legacy systems and the SAP target systems to act as an expert intermediary between the specialist department and IT
• Advising and supporting the project teams with regard to designing migration processes
• Controlling and coordinating the project team members
• Definition/validation of governance, risk management and overall reporting aspects for the project – including board packs and Steering Committee sessions.
• Quality assurance
• Leveraging various delivery methodologies and principles (e.g. Agile), to achieve the optimal delivery cadence within the team.

Requirements

• University degree specializing in IT or, alternatively, several years of experience in delivering SAP technology solutions. Banking industry experience is preferable but not a necessity.
• Alternatively, Minimum 5 years experience in managing the design and delivery of technology solutions in the banking sector.
• Technical and functional understanding of SAP and/or SAP S/4H technology in one of the following areas: S/4H Finance, Banking Services, TRBK, CML, Business Partner or SAP CRM
• Evidence of experience of successfully implementing at least two projects
• Strong communication skills paired with a confident and friendly manner and excellent social skills
• Willingness to travel worldwide, location preferred Europe, South Africa
• Fluent and proficient written and spoken English
