Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution and 10 years of experience; OR
  • Masters degree and 8 years of experience, with specialized experience considered in lieu of a formal degree
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant SAP security experience, including 5 years managing multi‑discipline security programs for DoW acquisition SAPs
  • Proficient in personnel, industrial, physical, and information security
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects and delivering high‑quality results
  • Recent SAP security‑related position held within the last 9 months
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with program and policy teams to remain informed on NISPOM and DODDM policies
  • Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) certification from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Center for Development of Security Excellence preferred
  • Experience in a headquarters‑level organization preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate eligibility for SAP access
  • Prepare and oversee nomination packages, waivers, and Letters of Compelling Need (LOCNs)
  • Maintain and monitor SAP access suitability databases and manage reporting
  • Ensure contractor security compliance on SAP contracts
  • Review and authorize contractor facility accreditations
  • Identify security requirements for sensitive tests and activities
  • Compile and assess SAP facility accreditation packages
  • Manage facility documentation and create SOPs, MOAs/CUAs, and closure packages
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate security risks
  • Supervise classification management, including Top Secret accountability and media control
  • Draft Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and relevant security policies
  • Manage technology transfers and foreign disclosures while providing security training
  • Investigate security incidents and propose effective solutions
  • Conduct site inspections, accredit SCIF/SAPF spaces, and oversee document control
  • Facilitate security training, indoctrinations, and debriefings
  • Assist in crafting presentations for senior leadership and manage security‑focused SharePoint folders
  • Enforce security policies, interpreting them effectively, and developing SOPs
