Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior SAP Technical Data Management Analyst to support Technical Data Management (TDM) modernization and ERP integration initiatives.

The organization is modernizing how technical data required to operate and support complex equipment is managed across its enterprise. This includes updating policies, processes, training, and digital tools to enable a centralized, integrated approach to technical data management. As part of this effort, legacy standalone systems are being replaced with a centrally managed repository that will integrate with an enterprise ERP platform and transition to SAP S/4 HANA.

Responsibilities

The ERP Technical Analyst will support the Technical Data Management business process owner by performing the following:

• Review existing TDM policies and processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, and produce a Policy Options Analysis report.
• Develop, update, and modernize TDM-related policies, procedures, and publications aligned with standards and ERP capabilities.
• Support business and functional requirements definition for a new centrally managed technical data repository integrated with SAP.
• Document as-is and to-be TDM processes, establish business rules, and define technical standards for technical data governance.
• Support legacy data cleanup, remediation, and migration activities from Directa and SAP to establish a single source of truth.
• Perform data validation, unit testing, and system testing activities related to technical data.
• Contribute to training materials and deliver training to personnel on modernized TDM policies, processes, and procedures.
• Update configuration management policies and processes to align with new TDM practices and future SAP S/4 HANA implementation.

• SAP Technical Analyst - 10+ years
• Business Transformation Project - 18+ months
• Supporting engineering and maintenance activities for equipment or systems - 10+ years
• Managing engineering drawings and associated files for equipment or systems - 10+ years
• Secret clearance
