Lead the development of innovative signal processing algorithms in the Senior SAR Mission Engineer role. Drive mission operations, spacecraft specifications, and engineering activities for advanced SAR processors.

This position involves providing end-to-end oversight for SAR-related engineering throughout the lifecycle of missions. You'll oversee the Mission Concept of Operations and define mission specifications, while managing technical risks and ensuring verification and validation. Take charge of commissioning space SAR missions and enhance ongoing operations through technical leadership and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAR engineering activities throughout mission lifecycle
• Define mission specifications and spacecraft budgets
• Lead design trade-off studies for mission elements
• Direct commissioning and early operations of SAR missions
• Provide technical guidance and support to upper management

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years experience with SAR data and processors
• 5+ years in space systems engineering
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++ preferred
