Senior SDET Engineer

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior SDET Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, API/UI testing, and CI/CD pipelines, along with exposure to AI-driven testing tools. This role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks and driving quality across distributed, cloud-native systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, mobile, and data layers
• Design and execute end-to-end, regression, and performance test suites
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Perform API testing, database validation, and backend verification
• Ensure high test coverage across functional and non-functional areas
• Collaborate with Dev, QA, and DevOps teams
• Mentor junior team members and drive QA best practices
• Leverage AI tools to enhance test design and productivity

Required Skills

Automation & Testing

• Playwright, Selenium, Appium
• API Testing: Postman, RestAssured
• Frameworks: TestNG, Cucumber, PyTest
• Performance Testing: JMeter

Programming

• Strong in Python and Java
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript

CI/CD & Tools

• Jenkins, Maven
• GitHub (version control, PRs)

Data & Database

• MySQL
• Data validation across pipelines and systems

Cloud & Platforms

• AWS (testing applications in cloud environments)
• Windows, Linux, macOS; iOS & Android

AI Exposure

• Experience with tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
• Basic understanding of prompt engineering and AI-based testing

Nice to Have

• ETL / Data testing experience
• PySpark, Kafka, or event-driven systems
• Experience with large-scale data platforms
