About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our team based in Strasbourg. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions.
What you will do
- Develop, implement, maintain, upgrade, test cybersecurity products
- Provide cybersecurity-related support to users and customers
- Integrate cybersecurity solutions and ensure their sound operation
- Securely configure systems, services and products
- Maintain and upgrade the security of systems, services and products
- Implement cybersecurity procedures and controls
- Monitor and assure the performance of the implemented cybersecurity controls
- Document and report on the security of systems, services and products
- Work close with the Operations on security implementation and operations related actions
- Implement, apply and manage patches and hardening guidelines to products to address technical vulnerabilities
- Communicate, present and report to relevant stakeholders
- Integrate cybersecurity solutions to the organisation’s infrastructure
- Configure solutions according to the organisation’s security policy
- Assess the security and performance of solutions
- Develop code, scripts and programmes
- Identify and solve security-related issues
Technical Skills required
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software systems security, cyber security, and information security practices
- Experience building end-to-end products or features for authentication, authorization, and data security;
- Experience working with security technologies (SSL, TLS, X.509, SAML, OAuth, JWT, AWS KMS, KMIP, PKCS#11, OpenID Connect, etc.);
- Experience with low level cryptographic mechanisms like (AES, GCM, PBKDF2, HMAC, SHA2, etc.);
- Experience building features for both on-premise enterprise security products as well as cloud-based security products;
- Network engineering and architecture knowledge (TCP/IP, IPSEC, HTTP/S, routing protocols);
- Experience securing high level complex systems such as data centers;
- Experience with Agile methodology and team collaboration tools;
- Experience with configuring routers and switches;
- Experience with firewalls;
- Proficient in Linux and Unix based operating systems.
