As a Senior Security Engineer, you will architect and manage advanced firewall solutions, oversee cloud security posture tools, and protect workloads across hybrid environments. You will work closely with cloud, DevOps, and IT infrastructure teams to integrate security into every stage of the deployment lifecycle. The role involves monitoring threats using SIEM/SOAR, optimizing firewall policies, automating cloud security remediation, and participating in incident response and forensic investigations. Your expertise will enable the organization to maintain compliance with global standards while enhancing overall security resilience.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto and Fortinet firewall platforms

Configure NGFW features including App‑ID, Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, VPNs, NAT & HA

Integrate firewall environments with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer

Implement and manage CSPM tools such as Prisma Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Wiz

Conduct continuous cloud configuration assessments and enforce compliance (CIS, NIST)

Automate remediation workflows for cloud misconfigurations

Secure cloud workloads including VMs, containers, and serverless applications

Detect and mitigate runtime threats and vulnerabilities

Monitor, investigate, and respond to threats using SIEM and SOAR solutions

Perform firewall rule audits and optimization initiatives

Conduct vulnerability assessments and support incident response activities

Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines

Maintain security documentation, policies, and best practices

🎓 Required Qualifications & Skills

10+ years of hands‑on cybersecurity engineering experience

Strong expertise in Palo Alto NGFW and Fortinet FortiGate platforms

Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks and CSPM/CWP technologies

Proven ability to manage enterprise security in high‑availability environments

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Experience with SIEM/SOAR and security governance best practices

Certifications such as PCNSE, CISSP, NSE, or CCSP

Experience with container security and Kubernetes environments

Knowledge of IaC security (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
