Senior Security Engineer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

• Planning, further development, and operation of the network-based infrastructure (Cisco, Fortinet) in collaboration with the team
• Monitoring and control of IT security systems
• Further development of IT security monitoring
• Aggregation of threat intelligence and execution of threat hunting
• Coordination of immediate measures in case of security threats
• Operation of vulnerability management
• Participation in concept development and implementation of customer and infrastructure projects
• Updating and maintenance of documentation in Confluence
• Support of the organization in security matters
• Creation of solution proposals and training for support and operation teams

Qualifications

• Completed IT training with a focus on system technology (platform development) or cybersecurity
• HF/FH degree in IT or cybersecurity advantageous
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the network field
• Certifications in Cisco and Fortinet as well as cybersecurity advantageous
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working with a strong sense of service
• Team-oriented, reliable, and with good communication skills and quick comprehension
