Position Overview

This role requires a seasoned security professional with experience in large-scale events, executive environments, and enterprise risk management who can operate confidently in a fast-paced, high-visibility global event environment.

Mission & Scope

The Embedded Senior Security Operations Lead will:

• Serve as the primary on-site security operations representative
• Coordinate directly with client leadership and executive stakeholders
• Translate threat intelligence and risk analysis into actionable operational guidance
• Lead crisis management and incident response alignment
• Support event execution across 16 host cities in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada
• Ensure seamless coordination between embedded leadership and vSOC teams

Core Responsibilities

Crisis & Incident Management

• Lead refinement and implementation of crisis management plans
• Support March incident management training and tabletop exercises
• Manage real-time incident coordination during the operational period
• Oversee escalation pathways and decision-making protocols

Executive & Event Security Coordination

• Advise senior executives on security posture and risk exposure
• Coordinate executive movements and match-day security planning
• Liaise with event security, stadium leadership, and local authorities
• Ensure readiness for high visibility matches and brand activations

Intelligence & Threat Integration

• Translate vSOC intelligence reporting into operational recommendations
• Monitor evolving threat conditions and recommend posture adjustments
• Participate in intelligence briefings and operational updates
• Maintain awareness of geopolitical and protest activity trends

Enterprise Security Risk Management

• Align operations with clients enterprise risk tolerance
• Support enterprise-level reporting and executive summaries
• Assist in maintaining continuity and compliance standards
• Provide advisory support on risk mitigation strategies

Qualifications

Required

• 15+ years of experience in security operations, crisis management, or enterprise security leadership
• Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale events or high-visibility executive environments
• Strong executive communication and advisory skills
• Experience in enterprise security risk management frameworks
• Working knowledge of threat intelligence operations and OSINT methodology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational software platforms
• Residence in the NYC/NJ metropolitan area
• Ability to work on-site in Hoboken, NJ full time during contract period

Preferred

• Spanish language proficiency
• Prior experience supporting global sporting events
• Military, federal law enforcement, or senior corporate security background
• Experience working in a hybrid embedded + remote SOC environment
