Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Business Analyst function is:

• To question, analyze, document and validate business requirements to meet business needs
• To help clearly define purpose and scope of projects and to manage stakeholder expectations
• To identify and/or develop optimal solutions for the business needs
• To ensure the delivery of project’s output to customer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate the high-level requirements into detailed specifications
• Define business cases and evaluate business requirements
• Perform analysis for potential solutions and interact with potential vendors
• Analyze existing or new documentation
• Provide project teams with a clear understanding of business needs, requirements and specifications
• Build testcases
• Prepare UAT scripts and assist with UAT process
• Liaise with senior management and stakeholders as well as participants in the project in order to gather all business requirements and translate to technical specifications
• Gather pre-project documentation and ensure documentation is formatted according to Firm’s guidelines and best practices
• Ensure post project documentation for continuous improvement of processes
• Build and maintain documentation in areas of expertise (e.g., processes, guidelines, best practices) that can be used for reference and training purposes

Qualifications/Position Requirements

• At least 7 years experience working with ServiceNow in a Business Analysis capacity
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be a self-starter
• Pro-active work attitude, results oriented, reliable, and flexible
• Possess strong interpersonal skills
• Possess strong business/technical oral and written communication
• Ability to work and remain organized in a fast-paced complex environment; ability to multi-task, change direction, effectively prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Ability to present to Senior Leadership on Project progress, risks and issues

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or a closely related discipline preferred.
• 7 or more years required of combined Business Analysis Experience
