Your Impact
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at OpenText, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our cloud infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and efficient. Operating at the confluence of development and operations, you will design, build, and maintain robust systems that support our platforms. Your efforts will guarantee superior performance, enhance system efficiency, and facilitate the delivery of stable, scalable solutions for our clients.
What the Role Offers
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters for optimal availability and scalability.
- Leverage AWS services to construct and sustain cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and oversee Helm charts for effective application deployment and management.
- Utilize Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Monitor and fine-tune both Windows and Linux-based systems to guarantee peak performance and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of applications.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enhance development and deployment workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application performance issues efficiently.
- Participate in on-call rotations to deliver 24/7 support for critical systems.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and Bash.
- Knowledge of cloud security and infrastructure automation best practices.
- Significant experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, as well as CI/CD tools and methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture; AWS certifications are a plus.
- Expertise in Helm charts for managing Kubernetes applications.
- Thorough understanding of Terraform for infrastructure as code management.
- Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration practices.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP or NIST Frameworks is advantageous.

Compensation
At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully crafted benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial well-being. We are happy to discuss details about compensation programs, including variable and commission structures for eligible positions, vacation time, and paid leave.
Salary Range: $143,440 - $215,000; actual compensation may vary based on education, experience, skills, geographical location, and internal equity.
California Residents: The above pay range is an estimate, reflecting salary based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission opportunities in addition to the rich benefits outlined.
