What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with the Coinbase Infrastructure team to enhance existing CI/CD frameworks for IT services and enterprise network platforms.
• Work alongside security and compliance teams to integrate surveillance tooling into deployment pipelines.
• Design and implement automation processes to optimize IT support workflows.
• Manage and support Kubernetes deployments.
• Develop a technological roadmap based on product specifications.
• Participate in on-call duties to support AWS service deployment pipelines.
• Champion a DevSecOps culture and establish best practices for cloud security.
• Ensure high standards for technical documentation across IT engineering.
• Participate in an operational environment adhering to strict SLAs and managed incident response and disaster recovery plans.
• Lead incident response efforts, conduct root cause analyses, and facilitate blameless retrospectives.
• Define key metrics and identify opportunities for automation based on monitoring and observability data.
• Develop and maintain integrations with other systems such as source control and build systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to internal tools.

What we seek in you:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in network infrastructure support.
• At least 8 years of automating cloud infrastructures.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, etc.).
• Experience with version control and CI/CD processes (Git).
• Robust experience with AWS services and CI/CD workflows using Terraform or similar frameworks.
• Strong background in configuration management systems like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
• Extensive experience with container technologies and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Ability to leverage generative AI tools in daily tasks and adapt as technology evolves, ensuring efficient and high-quality outputs.

Nice to have:

• Expertise in Linux, Bash, Ruby, Python, or Go.
• Experience automating EC2 or container deployments with Terraform.
• Strong foundational knowledge of network security.
• Experience with log aggregation management.
• Background in regulated environments.
• Experience in dynamic, fast-paced companies.
• Experience in remote-first IT settings.

Compensation and Benefits

Job #: P76227 Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD. Total compensation may also include equity, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k)).
