Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Remote Position

Join our team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our mission-critical services. This position demands strong experience with OCI tooling, distributed systems, and production operations, focusing on automation, observability, and incident response.

Required Qualifications: • 5-8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering • Hands-on expertise with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) • Experience managing large-scale distributed systems in production • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash • Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and incident management practices • Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code • Familiarity with database troubleshooting and management (Oracle preferred)

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with high-availability, customer-facing cloud services • Background in regulated or government cloud environments • Familiarity with compliance standards like FedRAMP and ILx • Experience with FedRAMP and 3PAO audit procedures • Proven ability to drive automation and reliability engineering best practices • Experience with Shepherd or similar frameworks • Knowledge of Kubernetes • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus • Familiarity with the construction and engineering industry is desirable • Knowledge of SRE principles, including incident response, SLIs/SLOs, and resilience engineering. • Track record of building automation solutions for cloud operations or DevOps processes.

Key Responsibilities: • Enhance service reliability, availability, and performance (SLO/SLA) • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems • Develop automation to reduce operational toil and increase efficiency • Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks • Collaborate with OCI engineering teams for system design improvements • Support production operations in a regulated, high-compliance environment • Contribute to capacity planning and scaling strategies • Align AI Ops initiatives with reliability goals in partnership with the SRE team. • Integrate AI-driven tools into observability and incident management workflows. • Provide recommendations for optimizing cloud resources and boosting system resilience. • Create dashboards and visualizations for AI-driven insights for engineering and operations teams. • Work with data engineering teams to design data pipelines for monitoring and log data. • Participate in the 24x7 on-call rotation for service support

Range and benefit information are location-specific.

The hiring range for this position is between $79,100 and $158,200 per annum. Candidates may also be eligible for bonuses and equity.
