To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - 100% remote (w/m/d).

Responsibilities

• System Availability: You actively contribute to the availability, reliability, and efficiency of our complex system architecture, consisting of approximately 70 servers at Hetzner.
• Maintenance and Automation: You support the maintenance and automation of our existing infrastructure, based on technologies such as Ubuntu, Percona MySQL Cluster, MinIO, Elasticsearch, Redis, NGINX, HAProxy, TiDB, Clickhouse, and Kubernetes. You will contribute your ideas for optimization.
• Monitoring and Analysis: You improve our monitoring strategies and conduct comprehensive error analyses. Your goal is to ensure that recurring errors are avoided and that the systems function optimally at all times.
• High Availability: In exceptional cases, you are prepared to be on call at night to ensure our systems run smoothly. Your commitment to high availability is indispensable to us – you work hard to ensure such situations occur as rarely as possible.

Requirements

• Software Development: Several years of experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Rust, Java, Go, Typescript) are necessary.
• Automation: Good understanding of system automation and IT security.
• Systems: Practical experience with some of the following systems: MySQL, TiDB, Kubernetes, MinIO, and Elasticsearch.
• Language Skills: You communicate fluently in German and have good English skills.
• Personal Attributes: Good analytical skills, combined with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Passion: Experience in contributing to open-source technologies would be desirable.

Qualifications
