Senior Site Supervisor - Remote

Our client seeks a highly experienced and motivated Senior Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from a remote capacity. This role is critical for ensuring that projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, despite not being physically present on-site. You will be responsible for detailed planning, resource allocation, risk management, and remote team coordination. Your primary duties will involve reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, developing comprehensive project schedules, and ensuring all necessary permits and documentation are in order. You will also be tasked with managing procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring materials are delivered on time and within budget. A key aspect of this role is maintaining rigorous quality control by analyzing progress reports, site photographs, and video feeds, and providing constructive feedback to on-site teams. Responsibilities: Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for construction projects. Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. Conduct remote site inspections and quality control checks through various technological means. Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Manage and mentor remote construction teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed. Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Implement and monitor best practices in construction management and site supervision. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on site supervision. Proven experience managing projects remotely is highly desirable. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and collaborative tools (e.g., Slack, Asana). Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to analyze technical drawings and reports.
