Our Software & Information Platforms team is responsible for the configuration, design, administration, and development of application frameworks that support our organization’s software solutions. We collaborate closely with Application Development & Maintenance teams and other IT functions to identify enhancements and long-term capabilities for our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and improvements of core software and information platforms.
  • Analyze platform metrics and proactively identify patterns to enhance platform stability.
  • Break down complex initiatives into manageable, actionable work items.
  • Troubleshoot intricate platform and cloud issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive sustainable improvements in stability and performance.
  • Establish and ensure compliance with platform standards, best practices, and governance across cloud architectures and applications.
  • Work collaboratively with Application Development, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into robust platform designs and reusable components.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineers, offering architectural insights, conducting code reviews, and facilitating knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including products like Compute Engine, IAM, and APIs.
  • Proven experience in architecting and designing Business Intelligence platforms on GCP or AWS cloud.
  • Experience linking analytic applications to GCP data stores, such as BigQuery.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java, with expertise in frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and REST API development being a plus.
  • Prior experience with GoAnywhere and Atscale is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Harness, Concourse, or Jenkins is advantageous.
  • Google Cloud Platform certification is a plus.

Salary and Benefits

Anticipated Salary Range: $123,400 - $176,300
