Senior Software Architect, Cloud Infrastructure

Our client, a leader in cloud-native solutions and digital transformation, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to design and guide the development of robust and scalable cloud infrastructure. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to shape cutting-edge technology solutions from anywhere. You will be responsible for defining the overall architecture of cloud-based systems, ensuring they meet performance, security, and reliability requirements. Key duties include collaborating with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical designs, evaluating and selecting appropriate cloud technologies and services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and establishing best practices for development, deployment, and operations. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in software development and a strong focus on cloud architecture. Deep expertise in microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) is essential. This remote-first role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to lead and mentor technical teams effectively through virtual collaboration tools.
