Responsibilities

• Creation of a rough architecture concept (arc42) for the new IT component "Central Issuing Service (ZID)"
• Recording of functional and non-functional requirements in coordination with relevant stakeholders
• Development and evaluation of architectural decisions
• Technical focus: Issuer functions for the EUDI wallet
• Technical focus: API integration, identity management (BundID), qualified electronic signature, IT security
• Ensuring that the technical implementation complies with the BVA's architectural specifications

Technical Focus (Selection)

• API technologies (HTTP, REST, FAPI 2.0, OpenAPI)
• OpenID4VCI, OIDC, Remote Signing / QSeal
• Token formats (JWT, SD-JWT VC, mdoc)
• IT security (Zero Trust, certificates, IT Grundschutz)
• Cloud-ready or DVC-compatible operating environments

Requirements

• Knowledge of the IT landscape of public administration (e.g. NOOTS, OZG, BundID) is an advantage
• Experience in or with public administration / federal authorities
• Residence in Germany
• Very strong in German (technical, conceptual, documentation skills)
