Senior Software Architect (Remote)

You will play a pivotal role in defining the technical vision and architectural direction for our suite of products, ensuring they are robust, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities include translating complex business requirements into elegant technical designs, establishing coding standards and best practices, and guiding development teams through the implementation process. You will evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools, and mentor junior and senior engineers on architectural principles and design patterns. A key aspect of this role involves conducting architectural reviews, identifying potential performance bottlenecks, and ensuring the security and reliability of our systems. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, models, and specifications. Collaboration with product managers, stakeholders, and other engineering leaders will be essential to ensure architectural alignment with the product roadmap and company strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various architectural styles (e.g., microservices, event-driven), cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL). Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for innovation are paramount.
