Senior Software - Backend Developer

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Media & Entertainment industry, your role will involve a blend of hands-on backend engineering and higher-level responsibilities in design, architecture, and team leadership. **Qualifications Required:**

- 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer. - Robust proficiency in backend service development. - Strong hands-on experience with relational databases. - Experience with non-relational databases, distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven messaging architectures. - Proven experience with AWS or other cloud platforms for building distributed, scalable systems. - Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization. - Experience embedding security and compliance best practices into backend and API design. - Strong understanding of system design principles, scalability, performance optimization, and high availability. - Proficiency in AI-assisted coding tools, observability practices, and Agile development. - Experience in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests, with the ability to guide less-experienced engineers. - Media & entertainment industry experience is a plus. - Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and multiple backend frameworks is beneficial.
