Zen Strategics, a Titan Technologies company, is seeking a Senior Software Developer – Appian to support a high-visibility federal program at the Pentagon. This is a key personnel role supporting enterprise-level application development and modernization efforts within a complex, mission-driven environment.
We are looking for a highly experienced Appian developer who can lead the design, development, and integration of scalable applications in a secure, enterprise environment. This role requires deep expertise in Appian, Agile development, and enterprise data systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Appian-based applications and solutions
- Develop and integrate web APIs to support Appian platforms
- Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Create, modify, and optimize relational database schemas and queries
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and security compliance
- Support DevOps, data integration, and platform operations within enterprise environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and government customers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Appian development experience
- 5+ years of Agile software development experience
- Appian Senior Developer Certification
- 10+ years of overall software engineering / systems development experience
- Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-level data environments (DevOps, analytics, governance, security)
- Strong experience with relational databases (schema design, query optimization)
- Must be U.S. citizen
- Public Trust or higher Security Clearance required
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field OR 15+ years of relevant experience
