Your role in the team

• Design innovative software solutions at the intersection of automation technology and IT.
• In your daily work, you develop business software applications, system software, as well as IT solutions and IT infrastructure services based on functional specifications, and adapt or extend existing systems.
• They advise internal and external clients on the creation and refinement of functional specifications, leveraging their technical expertise.
• Furthermore, you evaluate supplier solutions, design program layouts, and develop customized software architectures.
• They independently conduct fault analyses, are responsible for testing applications, and ensure high software quality.
• Finally, you will provide technical support for business applications, implement interfaces between systems, and ensure comprehensive documentation as well as the planning and execution of updates and system enhancements.

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• In addition, you possess solid knowledge in the SIMATIC environment, particularly in communication technology with PROFINET, in handling peripheral systems, and in engineering with the TIA Portal.
• Ideally, you have completed further training as an ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation or Advanced Level) or have knowledge in the field of Product Security Testing.

Experience

• You have programming experience in C# or Python as well as in SIMATIC programming with SCL and apply this confidently in practice.
• Your profile is complemented by experience in the design and planning of test systems, as well as a structured and solution-oriented working approach.

Education

• You hold a degree in Technical Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field of study.
