Senior Software Developer in Test Automation (m/w/d)

Your Tasks

• Develop the topic of test automation actively and continuously together in the team.
• Take the lead in the conception, further development, and implementation of our automation frameworks, which serve as the basis for the development of our automated tests.
• Coordinate communication within the team and with stakeholders.
• Plan test cases for important user workflows of our web and SAP applications, control execution results, question encountered errors, and work with colleagues from different company areas on problem-solving.
• Additionally, relieve manual testers by independently automating new tests and improving existing tests on an ongoing basis.
• Contribute significantly to the redefinition of software quality in our company with your quality awareness, knowledge, and experience.

Through your work, you ensure that our software development in the voestalpine Group always meets our high quality standards, thereby guaranteeing customer satisfaction.

Your Profile

• Completed education (HTL/FH/University with a technical focus).
• Possess extensive knowledge in a programming language such as C# or Java and have several years of experience in test automation (with Selenium or comparable tools).
• Have experience with Jira and GitLab/GitHub. Xray knowledge is an advantage.
• Have acquired certifications in the software quality environment (e.g., ISTQB) or are interested and motivated to acquire them.
• Are goal-oriented, show initiative, and possess a high sense of responsibility.
• Communication and documentation in German and English are not a problem for you, as collaboration in the team and with stakeholders takes place in German and English.
• Ideally, you have already gained practical experience working with SAP and are familiar with basic procedures and processes in the system.

We Offer

Compensation and Benefits: The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is EUR 4,611.00 gross (14 times per year). The actual salary depends on the respective qualification and professional experience.
