We are looking for:

Senior Software Developer (m/f/d)

Your role at nolas

• Development of frontend and backend features (Vue.js, Node.js/TypeScript)
• Design and optimization of microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven processes
• Working with Kafka, Redis, Bull Queues, Cronjobs, and external integrations
• Data modeling and performance optimization in PostgreSQL
• Contribution to architecture, system design, and cloud deployments
• Close collaboration within the team, clear communication, and technical responsibility

What you bring with you:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• German language skills at C1 level
• Quick understanding of complex architectures
• Experience from real organizational contexts – you understand how users, workflows, and document processes actually function
• Independent, structured way of working
• Clear and precise communication within the team

Frontend

• Very good knowledge of Vue.js (Vue Router, Vuex/Pinia, Composition API)
• Experience with Webpack/Vite, npm/yarn
• Confident use of WebSockets (e.g. socket.io)
• Experience in REST API integration

Backend

• Excellent knowledge of Node.js + TypeScript
• Development of REST APIs (Express.js or NestJS)
• Kafka (Producer/Consumer)
• Redis (Cache, Queue, Pub/Sub)
• Bull Queues for asynchronous jobs
• Development of Cronjobs
• S3 integration (uploads, storage)
• PostgreSQL (modeling, complex queries, optimization)
• TypeSense (search, indexing)
• Integration of external services (e.g. AI modules)

System & Architecture

• Experience with microservice architectures
• Understanding of event-driven architecture
• Fundamentals in system design & architecture diagrams
• Confident use of Git (GitHub/GitLab)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS or comparable)
• Experience with SFTPGo
