Responsibilities

As a Senior Developer (m/f/d), you will strengthen our small, highly motivated team and play a key role in the technical further development of our company infrastructure. Your focus will be on:

• Backend development for internal tools, data connections, and business logic
• Integration of existing systems ERP, PLM, Jira/Confluence, CRM, BI via standardized interfaces
• Design and implementation of automation solutions and system integrations (APIs, workflows, n8n)
• Building and operating a scalable on-premise AI platform (LLM-Inference, MLOps, vector databases)
• Shaping our DevOps processes: CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker
• Building a data catalog
• Operation and further development of self-hosted services: Opencloud, Keycloak, Vaultwarden, Grafana
• Ensuring IT security standards in architecture and operation
• Close collaboration with our existing DevOps/SysAdmin colleagues and the Head of Digitalization

Profile

Must-have:

• At least 5 years of experience in software and system development
• Very good knowledge in one or more backend languages (Python, Go, Node.js or similar)
• In-depth experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes (deployment, Helm charts, cluster operation)
• Practical experience in API development and system integration (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks)
• Understanding and experience in building and operating CI/CD processes and pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar)
• Knowledge & passion for IT security (authentication, access control, secrets management)
• Independent, structured way of working and enjoyment of hands-on activities

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Airflow or similar)
• Knowledge in the area of AI/ML platforms (Ollama, vLLM, LangChain, RAG architectures)
• Experience with identity provider solutions (Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC)
• Knowledge in monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
• Experience with ERP/PLM/CRM integrations or industry software
