Senior Software Engineer - AI & Big Data

Technical Qualifications

• Education: BS degree in Computer Science or a technically related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Big Data: Minimum 5 years of experience developing in the Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, PySpark, MapReduce, Hive, Impala).
• Application Frameworks: Minimum 5 years of experience with common frameworks (JEE – Spring Boot, Struts, Hibernate).
• Databases: Minimum 5 years of experience with RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL); MS SQL Server is preferred.
• Programming: Demonstrated proficiency in Java, Python, C/C++, or C#, and scripting languages such as JavaScript.
• Search & APIs: Strong proficiency in building/consuming RESTful APIs and experience with Elasticsearch (data modeling, indexing, and querying).
• Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with OpenShift or similar container orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and Git.

AI & Advanced Technology Requirements

• AI Implementation: Proven experience designing and implementing AI-driven solutions in a production environment.
• LLM Frameworks: Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks, APIs, and cloud platforms supporting advanced AI models.
• Integration: Ability to integrate AI/ML models into existing software systems and workflows.
• Prompt Engineering: Proficiency in prompt engineering and optimizing LLM outputs for business-specific use cases.

Professional Skills

• Collaboration: Ability to work with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Methodology: Deep understanding of SDLC and specific exposure to Agile Scrum techniques.
• Execution: Ability to execute deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within estimated timelines.
• Communication: Good written and oral communication skills.
