Identity and Access Management Solutions (IAMS)
HID Global IAM products protect more than 85 million user identities. At HID Global, we understand that no person, device, or workplace can go unprotected. Essential Duties
- Design and maintain scripting routines supporting production and personalization workflows.
- Work closely with operations and solutions team to ensure seamless integration into production environments.
- Identify solutions contributing to overall manufacturing process improvements.
- Contribute to JavaCard applets development that meet functional specifications and security requirements.
- Implement and validate APDU command processing for smart‑card communication.
- Partner with security architects to ensure alignment with relevant standards (ISO/IEC 7816, GlobalPlatform, EMV).
- Optimize performance and memory usage for highly constrained embedded environments.
- Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to certification activities.
- Participate in code reviews and help drive continuous improvement across the development process.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such asC, C#, or Java.
- Understanding of Java language and its limitations in JavaCard.
- Hands-on experience with.Net, .NetCore, HTML, JSON, XML, ...
- Familiarity with APDU protocol and card-reader communication.
- Experience with cryptographic libraries and secure coding practices.
- Proficiency with development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, VS Code, git/bitbucket, etc.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and test automation frameworks like Robot Framework.
- Ability to handle priorities well and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
- Must demonstrate analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have:
- Interest in applied cryptography and key management.
- Knowledge of RFID industry standards such as ISO7816, ISO14443, ISO15693
- Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM is appreciated.
Education And/or Experience
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in Embedded Systems.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Work Requirements
- Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
- Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
