Senior Software Engineer

Your role in the team

• Become part of our lab25 team as a Senior Software Engineer and help us create innovative digital products for our clients.
• You work in an interdisciplinary team including UX designers and engineers, and play a central role in the development of modern, scalable web applications.
• You design and develop scalable and maintainable software solutions for our web-based applications.
• You actively contribute your experience to architecture decisions, technical concepts, and code reviews.
• You take ownership of technical solutions and develop sustainable implementations together with the team.
• You identify technical improvements and promote best practices in engineering.
• You develop efficient, robust, and reusable software components.
• You work closely with design and the engineering team to deliver high-quality digital products.

Qualifications

• You possess a deep understanding of software architectures for scalable web-based applications.
• You work confidently with modern backend technologies and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails or Java.
• You are proficient with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or Angular based on TypeScript.
• You think solution-oriented, work in a structured manner, and enjoy taking responsibility for technical decisions.
• You are interested in modern technologies related to Artificial Intelligence and AI Software Engineering and actively bring this perspective into our team and our projects.
• You are fluent in German and English.

Experience

• You have several years of practical experience in professional software development.
• You have extensive experience in backend, frontend, or fullstack development.

Education

• You have completed a degree or training in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical area.
