Upway is the leading marketplace for refurbished e-bikes across Europe and the United States. And we just raised 60M in Serie C to continue our mission to democratize light electric mobility by making it more accessible. In just four years, we’ve repaired and sold over 50,000 bikes and expanded our operations to 8 countries. We are building the tech infrastructure that powers everything from sourcing e-bikes to running our UpCenters (repair and refurbishment facilities), delivering a seamless customer experience, and developing the most advanced pricing model for second-hand e-bikes. We believe that a small team of excellent engineers can move mountains. You will be part of a tight-knit, high-performing team (Our tech & product office is located in Paris, near Auber).

Responsibilities

• Solve Real-World Problems: Understand complex business challenges, break them into solvable parts, and deliver pragmatic technical solutions.
• Work on complex problems: You’ll break down intricate business challenges into manageable technical problems and craft innovative solutions. Whether it’s designing advanced pricing algorithms or structuring comprehensive databases, you’ll need to blend engineering rigor with a sharp analytical mindset.
• Own & Deliver: Take full ownership of projects—from idea to production. You’ll make decisions and be responsible for the outcome.
• Build for Scale: Design and develop robust, scalable systems that power our operations across sourcing, refurbishment, e-commerce, and pricing.
• Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to shape the future of Upway’s tech and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years in software engineering, with a proven ability to design, build, and deliver impactful solutions.

Pay range and compensation package

At this position, you would be joining the Tech team, working directly with the CTO, and being based in Paris (8th).
