About the Role

Kiaaka Global is hiring for a leading EdTech platform. We are looking for an extraordinary Backend SDE II to design, build, and scale backend systems. You will work on high-performance APIs, distributed systems, and scalable microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure backend services using Node.js.
• Build RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Manage SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Implement best practices for fault tolerance, caching, and resiliency.
• Collaborate with DevOps to manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in backend development.
• Tech Stack: Node.js, AWS (Lambda), Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Skills: System design, database optimization, and performance tuning.
• Asset: Must be willing to bring your own laptop/desktop.

Work Schedule

• 5 days a week.
• General Shift.
