(Senior) Software Engineer C/C++/C# (m/w/d)

For exciting projects in Aerospace and Defence, we are looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer C/C++/C# (m/f/d).

Responsibilities:

• Software development in C/C++ and C#
• Development of software drivers under various operating systems on embedded systems (VxWorks 7, Linux)
• Coordination with specialist departments regarding the functionality to be developed
• Agile working methods in the projects to be carried out (Scrum, Kanban)
• Software development in the environment of civil and military products (DO-178C DAL A-D, IEC 61508 SIL2-3)

What you bring:

• Completed degree or vocational training in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics or similar
• Several years of professional experience in embedded software development with C/C++
• Experience in the development of software drivers under various operating systems on embedded systems (VxWorks 7, Linux)
• Knowledge in requirements engineering
• Experience in agile software development (SCRUM, Kanban)
• Strong team player, independent and communicative
• Willingness to work on military projects
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken

Of advantage, but not strictly required, is experience in:

• Software development with C#
• Software development and integration of civil and military products (DO-178C DAL A-D, IEC 61508 SIL2-3)
• Use of software engineering tools such as Eclipse, DOORS, DIMENSIONS, JIRA, Git, Bitbucket or Jenkins
