Job Description
Trusted Space is seeking a Senior Software Developer with a Bachelor's degree or higher and 8+ years' experience to join our team.
- Supports program objectives to include software development in a collaborative hybrid (TS/unclassified) environment
- Will be key to program's integration efforts in hybrid environment
- Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives. Provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.
- Assists in the review and evaluation of systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety.
- Comfortable building C++ programs from the ground up.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 8+ years in software engineering or related experience
- 3 years of experience with C++ (preferably C++11 or newer)
- Experience with Python 3
- Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments (Mostly Linux)
- Must have the ability to architect software solutions using new and novel concepts
- An active Top Secret/SCI clearance
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with Machine Learning (ML) frameworks and concepts (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, RLlib)
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology
- Familiarity with Java and/or Scala
- Experience with database programming (e.g. MongoDB)
- Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker)
- Experience with C++20 or newer
Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $165,000‑$200,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary. Trusted Space, LLC considers several factors when extending an offer including, but not limited to: scope, location, position responsibilities, education/training, key skills and business considerations.
