Your Role:

• Analyze user requirements to develop robust software design and performance specifications.
• Design, code, and enhance software systems to implement new features.
• Integrate existing software with new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Prepare and review software and system documentation.
• Lead teams according to the software development processes in use on specific projects.
• Design and implement complex database interfaces and queries.
• Develop algorithms to meet or exceed performance and functionality standards.
• Assist in creating and executing software component testing procedures.
• Investigate and resolve software-related issues by analyzing system flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Modify software to correct errors or to improve performance in accordance with new hardware designs.
• Utilize scientific analysis and mathematical models for software system design and prediction of outcomes.
• Implement recommendations to enhance documentation and software development standards.
• Oversee software installation and ensure that equipment operates according to specifications.

Requirements:

• This position requires an active security clearance with a polygraph and a minimum of 14 years of experience in software engineering.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, or 4 additional years of experience may be used as a substitute.
