What You'll Do

Do what you do best:

• CLOUD SOLUTIONS FOR OUR CUSTOMERS You design, test and maintain the functions of our Proactive Hub or support the development of our cloud platform (not project-related) in a self-organized Scrum team
• CHALLENGE ACCEPTED You and your team handle problem analysis and actively contribute your creative solutions to both our Cloud platform and one of our Cloud products
• AUTOMATION FIRST You bring your solid knowledge in the automation of pipelines/tests and ensure that our processes are efficient and scalable
• SECURITY BY DESIGN You are passionate about security and secure software development. You have experience with cryptographic methods, techniques like threat modeling, and the security of the code is important to you
• BUILDING TEAMS You have the opportunity to shape the product in close collaboration with product owners and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

What we appreciate about you:

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable hands-on qualification
• At least 5 years of experience developing and operating production-grade software
• Strong expertise in C# / .NET (8+), including asynchronous programming, performance optimization, and modern object-oriented and functional patterns
• Ability to write clean, testable code following SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Clean Architecture
• Strong API design skills (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, asynchronous messaging architectures)
• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly IoT Hub, Event Hub/Grid, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, and Managed Identity
• Several years of experience with document-oriented databases, preferably MongoDB (schema design, indexing, aggregation, sharding/replica sets)
• Good working knowledge of relational databases
• Strong proficiency in Angular (current LTS) and TypeScript, including state management, RxJS, performance optimization, and accessibility
• Experience designing and operating scalable microservices, including resilience patterns (retry, circuit breaker, idempotency) and eventual consistency
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (ideally AKS), including Helm, autoscaling, and observability
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• Confident working on Windows with Visual Studio and VS Code
• Experience with agile software development, trunk-based development, and a strong code review culture
• Strong commitment to test automation (xUnit/NUnit, Playwright) across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• High level of abstraction combined with pragmatic delivery, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Curious and enthusiastic about new and emerging technologies, especially AI
• Team-oriented communicator who enjoys sharing knowledge and mentoring peers
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
• Strong bonus: Experience integrating AI/ML solutions, particularly LLMs and AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, LangChain), with knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt engineering, and responsible AI practices
