Our client, a rapidly scaling technology company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join their Cloud Platforms team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and services that power our core products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, reliable, and high-performance cloud solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and modern software development practices. You will collaborate with talented engineers and product managers to build the future of our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable cloud infrastructure and services. Write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code in languages such as Python, Go, or Java. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. Implement and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for performance improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and technical specifications. Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making processes. Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and best practices. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on cloud computing. Proven experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency in at least one cloud-native programming language (Python, Go, Java). Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and networking concepts. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and from our office in Asaba, Delta, NG .
