Senior Software Engineer / Developer

They are looking for a Senior Developer with a passion for gaming. The candidate will be responsible for creating, coding, troubleshooting of game concepts and be a part of a fast paced working environment.

Technical Qualifications: • Strong track record of designing and developing in C# , Java • Strong understanding of SQL architecture. • ViewJS, Typescript, Github, DevOps • API, mobile & UI/UX experience an advantage • Azure cloud & automated testing experience experience also an advantage (selenium, Cypress).

Key Responsibilities: • Analyze, Design and Produce quality software in conjunction with the technical lead and team of developers. • Creates Appropriate estimates and reviews them with the team. • Develop and release software as per team standards. • Meet defines specifications and requirements within the agreed time frame. • Create and maintain documentation of software design and implementation according to standards. • Actively review and fix all defects found as per quality standards. • Provide support for product related issues at all time and identify the problem scope.

Behavioral qualifications: • Problem solving skills. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Work under pressure. • Effective time management. • Trouble shooting ability.

The candidate should have a minimum of 4 -7 years of software development experience.

The candidate should have the right to work in South Africa.

This is a full time permanent role.

The role is hybrid, 2-3 days office based (Menlyn on Pretoria, La Lucia, Cape Town Century City locations available)
