Senior Software Engineer IAMD (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Independent processing of demanding development and analysis tasks in the field of complex ground-based air defense systems IAMD and RADAR:
  • System and requirements analysis including simulation
  • Conception of solutions for demanding problem areas in the IAMD field
  • Specification, development, and testing of technical solutions
  • Close cooperation with software development in the implementation of algorithms
  • Support of project management in offer preparation
  • Technical project management

The willingness to undertake minor business travel is required.

Your Profile

• Completed technical degree in aerospace engineering, mathematics, computer science, or comparable
• Several years of relevant professional experience in defense technology (Bundeswehr or defense industry)
• In-depth knowledge in the field of Integrated Air/Missile Defense
• In-depth knowledge in the field of RADAR
• Good knowledge in the field of Sensor Data Fusion & Sensor Resource Management
• Knowledge in the field of programming
• Willingness to acquire new knowledge
• Solid understanding of official and military procurement processes
• Initial experience in the technical management of sub-projects, projects, and project teams
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
