Senior Software Engineer / IT Consultant (m/w/d) – Java Fullstack & Integration

Your Tasks

• Requirements Analysis & Conception: Creation of technical concepts, mockups, proof-of-concepts and prototypes as well as development of smart approaches.
• Strategic Consulting: Technology selection and process support along the entire project lifecycle.
• High-End Engineering: Implementation of sophisticated integration solutions using Java Enterprise, modern frameworks and innovative AI/AI tools.
• Quality & Standards: Establishment of clean code principles and CI/CD pipelines (also for low-code).
• Take Responsibility: Establishment of architecture guidelines and, if necessary, leadership of project teams.

Requirements

You understand not only code, but also processes and people. You can advise clients at eye level and explain complex issues understandably:

• Engineering Foundation: You have at least 5 years of project experience and in-depth knowledge of Java and modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React or Vue.js).
• Architecture Mindset: Clean code, software architecture, interfaces and APIs are not buzzwords for you, but lived practice.
• Methodology: You are proficient in using CI/CD pipelines and modern build systems.
• Integration Know-how: You have a very good understanding of integration and are open to low-code platforms (e.g. Camunda, MuleSoft, Boomie, Lobster, Seeburger, webMethods or similar).
• Innovative Spirit: You are enthusiastic about new technologies and AI in project contexts and already use relevant AI tools practically in your daily work.
• Personality: You present yourself confidently and reliably to the client (workshops, meetings, reviews) and work independently and in a structured manner.
• Languages & Mobility: You communicate clearly and at eye level – in fluent German and confident English. You have the necessary flexibility for occasional on-site assignments at the client's premises.
