Senior Software Engineer (Java / Angular)

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Develop and enhance Java-based backend services using Spring technologies
• Build and maintain Angular/TypeScript frontend applications
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
• Analyze and resolve complex functional and technical challenges in the trading domain
• Participate actively in agile development teams and contribute to continuous improvement
• Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and best engineering practices

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in software development in enterprise environments
• Strong skills in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Framework
• Good knowledge of Angular and TypeScript
• Experience with Gradle/Maven and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Familiarity with automated testing (JUnit, Jest, Selenium)
• Understanding of trading or financial markets is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work in complex domains
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
• Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2+)
