Responsibilities

• Development and further development of cloud-based backend services for international use in HDI Global SE in ART Platform
• Design, implementation and operation of stable REST APIs including API design, testing and integration as a central component of the overall architecture
• Implementation of modern Java backend solutions based on Spring Boot (API-First, Clean Architecture)
• Working with event and message queue systems for asynchronous communication
• Building and operating highly automated deployments in Microsoft Azure including CI/CD and GitOps
• Active participation and continuous improvement of our development standards (Clean Code, Testing, Architecture)
• Close cooperation with developers, business analysts and subject matter experts in an agile environment

Profile

• Several years of experience as a Java Software Engineer / Backend Engineer, preferably with the Spring Boot framework
• High quality awareness with a feel for clean software architecture, clean code, usability, automated testing and functioning CI/CD
• Know-how in NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) and relational databases (e.g. Postgres)
• Knowledge in the development and operation of applications on cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Enthusiasm, curiosity and passion for new technologies, especially AI-supported ways of working
• High degree of personal responsibility and high interest in personal development
• Openness and courage as well as the willingness to regularly give and receive feedback
• Secure German and English skills in speaking and writing (min. C1)
